Top Performers Shine at TCU's Elite Training Camp in 2028!

Xavier Young, a standout from Faith Family in Dallas Oak Cliff, Texas, was the shining star at the TCU Elite Camps 2028. His skills were unmatched, with a defensive prowess, exceptional ball sense, and the ability to play above the rim in tight spaces setting him apart from the rest.

In addition to Young, another standout was Josiah Rose from Faith Family, a 6'3 guard who made the right reads, leading to open looks, assists, or hockey assists. Rose also showcased his skills as a ball-mover and playmaker at the camp.

Max Moody, a 6'0 guard from Stony Point, was another notable performer. Moody displayed quality self-creation skills and off-the-catch shooting. He is a skilled guard who knows how to play and score within the flow of the game.

Bae Bae Groom, from Duncanville, impressed with his off-the-catch shooting and attacking abilities. He utilised his length effectively on both ends.

Kingston Gould, from Burkburnett, caught the eye with his scoring prowess, particularly off the dribble shooting.

Felix Okam, a 2029 player from Grand Prairie, showed promise as an active forward with intriguing skills. He held his own against older players.

Eric Ekwegbara, from Houston Heights, was a hard-working player who scrambled for loose balls, fought on the glass, and finished through contact.

Jax Sharum, from New Wave Academy, played with an edge and shot well from deep.

Cameron Crenshaw, from San Antonio Wagner, was an intriguing forward with a plus wingspan, good post defense, and active rebounding skills.

Some of the best players from other U.S. regions at the TCU Elite Camps 2028 included Jada Jackson from Frenship HS, TX, Syniah Coachman from Fayetteville HS, AR, top Texas prospects like R'Monie Edwards (Cy-Ranch, TX) and James Foster (Texas), and Jonathan Bradley and James McCall-Spears from Texas standout lists. These players were recognised for their skill growth and college offers spanning major programs.

Xavier Young is expected to be among the top 5-10 players in his class nationally throughout his high school career.
